Survey #193... and counting

It’s late on Wednesday and we just read survey #193. It’s exciting to hear so many people speaking candidly about their hopes, dreams, wants, needs, and even fears for Chattanooga. There are those that are hopeful, helpful, part of, proud of and some that are dissenting.

Every last word is being read. CreateHere is paying attention, and keeping your responses absolutely confidential unless you advise otherwise.

The surveys are being compiled and a common thread runs through many of them. There is pretty much a universal love for the size and feel of this city that we all call home.

There’s a rally cry for more attention to be paid to the environment, a continued focus on the river, and maintaining the city’s forward momentum.

This momentum began in the early 1980’s (If you don’t know the history of revitalization movements in Chattanooga, check out a quick synopsis here).

People are screaming for a grocery store in downtown, looking for a little more nightlife, and a few people are longing to ride a trolley to downtown or a bullet train to Atlanta.

100+ responses have rolled in since Monday. If you haven’t already filled out the survey, do.
